NCP Visits The Winners Of The "NCP Makes An Impact" Initiative

Syosset, NY, May 10, 2011 – In April, the National Consumer Panel visited the two organizations that were selected as the winners of its "NCP Makes An Impact" initiative to formally recognize their efforts.

The Make An Impact initiative began last year when NCP announced to its panelists that the organization wanted to make an impact in a local community by donating $10,000 to a worthy food pantry. So NCP asked its panelists to submit a brief description of a local organization involved in delivering food to the needy. NCP received almost 1,800 submissions.

After reviewing each nomination, NCP decided to present $5,000 each to The Milan Community Emergency Relief, in Milan, IN, and The Sharing Center, in Paddock Lake, WI.
